Hooray for Saturdays!!! Although I am at work at least we got to sleep a little bit later! Camryn has a yucky cough and cold and was at the Dr. yesterday. Don't you just hate it when your kids are sick! Whenever she gets sick I tell myself to remember to be more thankful when she is well.

Hey all....Just wanted to share some more pics. This is Delaney and Spencer. Spencer is 1 month old and Delaney is 3. They are my sister Natalies children. Natalie and her family live right down the road from us.
Well, it's Tuesday afternoon and I'm at work. I've been helping my friend Carmon get some things ready for a fund raiser at school. We are going to be selling t-shirts, caps, duffle bags, etc....They are all Christian themed. I hope it does well.
My sister Danielle is picking Camryn up from school today. Camryn is going to be so excited to get to go home with Kenidy and play for a little while.

Being that I just started this blogging, I thought I might share a brief history of me and my family.
I am 38 years old and have lived in Picayune most of my life. I'm very lucky to say that all of my family lives nearby. I have been married to Darren since 1989 and in 2000 God blessed us with the best thing that ever happend to me. CAMRYN MEILING SPEIGHTS!!! Camryn was 6 months old when we adopted her from China and truly an answer to so many prayers. Being a mother is the best thing!! My little girl amazes me everyday. She will be 8 years old in December and I can't believe how fast the years are going by. Everyone warned me but you just don't realize it till it is happening to you.
Almost a year ago I bought the video store that I have worked at for years and years. I work more now than I used to but I enjoy it. And I'm very lucky that Camryn goes to school about a minute away from here. So if I ever needed to go get her I could be there in no time! Camryn goes to school at Roseland Park Baptist Church Academy. That is the church I was raised in. I attended my 1st church service as a newborn there, I was baptized there, I was married there, my sisters were married there and I am so glad that Camryn is there now. I love the environment of the school. I love that she comes home singing Christian songs and quoting Bible verses that she learns. It's an awesome place to leave her every morning!
I've rambled enough. Gonna try and post some more pics!!
Hey all!! It's Monday morning and here I sit in front of my computer reading everyone else's blog and thought I might just give it a try myself. I seriously doubt I'll be a quarter as creative as the other blogs I read but I'm gonna do it anyway.
We had a great weekend. I was off Saturday and Sunday, which almost never happens, and my friend Wendy came and visited us. Wendy and I have been friends since she and her family moved here when we were in 2nd grade. As we sat watching Camryn play with her cousin Kenidy we realized that we were Camryn's age when we met. I feel so lucky to have stayed such good friends with her all these years. She hasn't lived in Picayune since we graduated high school in '86 but we've never lost touch. Camryn adores her and was so happy to have her come for a visit!
