Well.....we made it! We were making such good time and Camryn was being such a good traveler....so we just flew past Tuscaloosa...canceled that hotel reservation........and kept on trucking!!
We didn't intend to come on all the way to Nashville! But we did! We called the hotel we had booked for Sat and Sun night and they had a room for us for Fri night..........so the decision was made! Let's keep on going!
My GPS, we've affectionately begun to call Garmina, led us all the way here!
We ate at the Hard Rock last night.......came back to hotel.............and were all asleep within about 15 mins! Driving all day makes you tired!!
Heading out to the Opryland Hotel in a bit! YAAAAAAYYYYYY!!

I'm Calling it The New Year of NO PICTURES!
For the one's and two's of you's that can't function without checking in each day........Sorry I haven't posted!
I am sure that ya'll have been waiting breathlessley..........WHY HAS ROXANNE POSTED NO NEW PICS?????
Do ya'll remember my camera canundrum I had before Christmas? (My Easy Share had bit the dust.) I picked out a new camera.......then Wal-Mart ( the mecca of all stores in Picayune) did not have it in stock!!!!
Then ...sighhhhh.........they got one...........I quick purchased it........took a few pics...........LOVED IT............then on Dec. 30th...........the day before Camryn's birthday.............
A certain little girl....( I won't name names).........proceeded to knock it out of my hands and it hit the brick sidewalk..........all because I was showing her a picture I took of her in mid-air doing her tumbling pass for her cheer competition. I was trying to show her how cool her hair looked while she was airborn.........Ms. Thang couldn't appreciate it..........."MOMMMMMMMMM"......SHE SAID and then hit my arm so camera would go away. Blah blah blah..........camera was broken. Lasted me all of a week or two!
P.S. Please don't tell Darren........He would go ballistic!
P.P.S. I DID buy another camera after that......but I didn't like it so I took it back to WM today.
I would bet big money that I am the only person ya'll know that has had 5 dig cameras.......and has nothing to show but pics that were saved on comp.
DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA! (Saw a clip from that musical today on t.v........)
ANYWAY..........Happy Chinese New Year! I usually do stuff for Cam's class.........but the 3rd grader/9 year old.........not having it this year!
So........anyway.............We are leaving here.......(Camryn's school)
on Friday afternoon...........
gonna stop here........In Alabama for the night.........and then head........
Here.........to the hotel that has the indoor pool that is shaped like a guitar. Would anyone care to guess what city we are going to?
We will see these sights........Camryn saw picture and wondered if it was New York City.... again? (That's my child.......the northeastern traveler).

We were at Natalie's house...........
Camryn walks in the room.........holding her little hands out and says that she is holding her baby. (Nothing was in her hands.) We say awwwww........and whatever.......and then ask her what her baby's name is. She says bumble bee. (ooooooookkkkkkkk) We go along...........start asking her about bumble bee. Does Bumble Bee have a last name? Yes......Shif Snif. And Bumble Bee's Daddy was named Ship Dip.
We were laughing our heads off..........Ship Dip Shif Snif!
So then we asked if Bumble Bee had any brothers or sisters.............Here was her answer.......
He has 2 brothers.........their names were Carleb and Donald....
Carleb and Donald live in New York City.....but they used to live in Texas.
Ship Dip lives in Hattiesburg with Jesus.
