My fall "TABLESCAPE"!

First thing........I ran out into the woods and gathered sticks.........all different sizes of course......I trimmed them later with my "creative gene-yuss" stick trimming tool I won on Sandra Lee's "Fantastic " Tablescape e-bay sale.

Next....Camryn and I both put on our i-pods.........loaded up the Sound of Music soundtrack and went running through the hills, that were, at the time, "Alive with the Sound of Music". Oh the things we saw..........like, huge mounds of........well.........POOP.....from the cows and horses and a few wild pigs..............I digress.......We found all these lovely wild flowers and wild berries (we chose not to snack on those........cause after all....they were wild). (But those berries did make me think of a dewberry cobbler with homemade ice cream!)

Wait........I've lost track.............. pies and cobblers and ice cream.........OH MY!

We brought all of our wonderous things home and found just the right color raffia ribbon to tie around them.

We then went outstide to our little pumpkin patch and picked out the cutest little perfect pumpkin.....(it is on the left of our flower creation picture above). We brought it in and cleaned it and glazed it, etc............ain't it just the purrtiest thang!

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3

Well finally........after all this time.....HSM 3 opened at the movies. We went tonight and had SUCH a good time! The movie was AWESOME (as Camryn and Kenidy said). I believe the Mama's had as much fun as the kids!! We had quite a crew! 5 Mama's and 8 little girls! We laughed and clapped and cheered and yes, a tear fell at the end. (mine) (I'm such a dork!)

PUNCH BUGGY!

I made the "mistake" a few months ago of pointing out a "punch buggy" to Camryn. Many very loud shouts and many "punches" later..............we are on the lookout for Punch Buggies every day. I am afraid that she has also passed the punches on to Kenidy, Delaney, Abbey, Blaire, Tyler..........

This is my next purchase in my quest for the million............Camryn says that she wishes that all cars were "punch buggies".

The 2.5 million dollar question!

Okay..........I have to come clean.............I've kind of sorta turned into a bum since I closed the Video Store a couple of weeks ago.

But I SWEAR.........I do not sit and watch re-runs of old game shows each day..................but today............I admit.......I was sitting on edge of bed watching t.v.( I had just folded a load of clothes). (while watching t.v.)

I was flipping channels and came across Jeopardy (my most fav game show........cause I can of course answer all the questions.........not)!

It was a re-run of when Ken Jennings!!!!!!!!! was on there! He is the most winninest game show contestant EVER! (He was on Jeopardy a record 75 times!)

I may not be a game show geek now......but when K-Jen was on there....Rox-Mom? Rock Mama? Wham Bam thank you Cam's mama?..........I digress............When K-J was on Jeopardy every afternoon............I was watching! I was all about looking up on internet(and this was when alls I had was dial up.........lord help me) seeing if anyone "actually knew" when his last day was gonna be.

I was obsessed......but that' s okay. He was cool.........in an ice cream vendor kind of way.

Okay, now that I have your attention......let me explain.

See, I was over at Big Mama's blog catching up with her and read about what I'm fixing to tell you about and I right laughed out loud!! So I figure if something actually makes you laugh out loud you should share it. So here goes....

Big Mama and her daughter were getting gas the other day and there was a Sonic next to the gas station. The daughter said "Oh Big Mama, can we go to Sonic and get some of those little turds?" Big Mama was all what? Daughter says........you know those little turds that Sonic has. Well....yep you got it.........she meant tots! HAPPY EATING!

Camryn and her friend Abbey do cheerleader and tumbling classes on Monday afternoon. They have such a good time!

This is a pic of our trailer that we moved onto our land after D graduated college. Tomorrow I'll try and walk out to the same spot that this was taken from and show how different it all looks now.

We were going "nowhere"!

This is me, Dan and Nat and our good friend Dana........"back in the day"! We went on the Enchanted Capri........on a "cruise to nowhere". Which meant........we cruised....but didn't dock anywhere. Didn't matter.......us girls ROCKED THAT BOAT! We had us a right good time! (This was before any of us had children.)

All dressed up and should have stayed home!

Well, gosh.......what can I say? Not much! That's me and Danielle and then me and Natalie. I'm not sure what year that was, but judging from the BIG hair, must have been 80's! P.S. This is NOT a "dress up" picture. We were really going out looking like this!

P.P. S. Oh my word......I JUST TODAY read on Big Mama's blog........that white hose are NEVER acceptable. Oh I hope she don't see this pic. She might forward it to Boo Mama and then she'll never pick me to win that pink vacuum cleaner she's giving away!

This is me and Jonathon Williams......in the 1st grade!!! We were Valentine King and Queen of the WHOLE SCHOOL! Us lowly 1st graders beat out all them chumps from 1st grade to 6th grade!

The best part of this picture......is of course the dress! But also notice my white "patent leather" shoes!

Now, probably somewhere in computer land I could find a way to animate those shoes and make them fine heels click together and we could all chant.........there's no place like home.......there's no place like home!

And I say this because...........that very dress...........has made its way back to me..........and Camryn has played..........."dress up" in it!

Well, yesterday was my 40th birthday! My mama and sisters gave me a surprise birthday party! It was so much fun! I knew something was up but had no idea how many people would be there!

Hey Internets (borrowed that expression from BooMama)! Of the few of you that read this thing.......only a couple of you know that I have had a MAJOR life change in the past few days. NO! I did not start menopause. (But my 40th birthday is on Sat.........so it's coming fast and hard!)

I closed my business on Tuesday. WOW! I CLOSED my business on Tuesday. Had only owned it for 2 years.........but had worked there FOREVER. I started working there right after graduation.........in ........drum roll please...........1986!!! Yep.......I'm old!

Anyway........big day..........emotionally and physically. I do have pictures.........before and afters........I'll get them on here soon. Till then.........breathe........(as in.........don't hold your breath........as if you were holding your breath anxiouslly awaiting some random pictures)!
