Yayyyyyy!!! The new season of Survivor has started!!!! Thursday nights at our house are SERIOUS!! By 7 EVERYTHING HAS TO BE DONE. Homework, baths, supper, etc.....Well, supper is usually eaten while watching Survivor. Usually it's "party food". You know, chicken wings, chips and dip etc... FUN FUN FUN..........and of course Barb and I call each other during each commercial to compare notes. Other than her.........I don't answer the phone till after "The tribe has spoken"!

My good friend April came to visit us this weekend. I haven't seen her in almost 4 years. She and I met when Darren was in college at Southeastern and she and I have been friends every since. She's a social worker in Baker, La. We had a nice visit. She's OBSESSED with scrapbooking and brought me a book she had made for me and brought a lot of her stuff and she and Camryn made a book for Camryn this morning. It was so good to see you April........hope it won't be another 4 years before we see each other again!

One of our first nights at home. How many years had I waited to do this! She was so worth the wait. God knew she was gonna be my daughter. I just had to wait for her to be born so she could come home to me.

This is the first time Aunt Natalie touched Camryn. First time Aunt Danielle got to hold Camryn. ( I have pics of everyone else's "first times" too...but I can't lay my hands on them now. Sorry.

WE'RE HOME!!!!! This is us coming out of the airport terminal in New Orleans and the first time our family got to see Camryn in person! What an emotional day!

I always wished I could share this on here so those of you who haven't seen it before could see the look on our faces. This was the INSTANT she was handed to us. July 30, 2000! A day I will never ever forget! GOTCHA sweet baby!

These pics were taken at Barb's in April of 200_? We've been there so many times I've lost track of what trip was taken when. But I do know it was in April.......cause it was hot at home and it snowed 12 inches there one day and I couldn't believe it.

Well, a year after buying a scanner for my comp so I could pictures on here that were taken before having a digital camera.........I finally drug the thing out of the closet and hooked it up. Beware.......my next few posts will probably be jam packed full of pics of Camryn when she was little. Ain't she cute!!!!!

Please pray for this family. They are in China and having a very difficult time.

Camryn and Kenidy love their Barbie movies. A new one came on recently and Camryn DVR'd it. Kenidy had not seen it yet but wanted to. Camryn asked yesterday if they could come over here Sat and watch it. So after they played for a while at Danielle's this morn I went and got them and came back here. I don't think I've ever known them to be that quiet and still for so long.



This is Barbie and "The Diamond Castle"........I highly recommend it!
