This is Nicholas. He is my friend Amys son. Her other son Brandon is the one pictured in the football picture I posted a few weeks ago. Nick also is a great football player.
Nick and Brandon are just the nicest boys. We love spending time with them. They are always so nice to Camryn and so respectful to me. Congrats to Amy for raising such well rounded boys! Love you guys!

A poem for Camryn's Birthmother
I found this poem on another Mothers blog and still have tears in my eyes from reading it. It is just beautiful and I had to share it.
I imagine you kissedher sweet face so round
And gently placed herwhere she would be found
I imagine your heartache your pain and your tears
I wish I could show you and soften your fears
I’d show you a girl with hope in her eyes
A girl who loves stories and sweet lullabies
A girl who laughs freely and loves to play
A girl who sings sweetly and dances all day
A girl with a future So funny and smart
A girl who loves musicand reading and art
A girl who I hope has your courage one day
I know it took courage to love and walk away
Her beautiful smile I wish you could see
She looks like you and laughs like me
So, imagine her laughter Imagine her touch
I wish I could show you she’s loved so much
Remember her face Remember that kiss
And when you cry, remember this
Beyond your tears Beyond your pain
Sometimes the sunshines through the rain
And I know that she’ll ask me about you one day
I’ll tell her you loved her and wished she could stay
I’ll help her remember and imagine you, too
when she starts to wonder and dream about you
We’ll look at the moon I’ll give her a kiss and when she cries, I’ll tell her this
Beyond your tears Beyond your pain Sometimes the sunshines through the rain

My sister and I had such a good time last night while talking on the phone. She was looking at my blog and we were laughing about the "Roxanne needs" section. So of course we had to check out what "Danielle needs". She doesn't have a blog so I'm just gonna have to post her "needs" for her.......
Danielle needs more self respect when it comes to boys.
Danielle needs to get ready for bed.
Danielle needs to take responsibility.
Danielle needs your vote.
Danielle needs a cheap cheap cheap notebook.
Danielle needs a photo-op with cows and cheese.
Danielle needs to update more.
Danielle needs no rescuing.
Ya'll need to do this.......it is to funny!!

Roxanne needs a man. ( I think not!!!)
Roxanne needs a golden earring. ( Only if it's white gold.)
Roxanne needs 20 Saturday lunches. ( Depends on where there from.)
Roxanne needs disco c.d.'s. ( Why?)
Roxanne needs fine art. ( Sure, if I can sell it!)
Roxanne needs a fasionable life. ( I thought I was doing okay...but..)
Roxanne needs revenge lyrics. ( I won't even go there.)
Roxanne needs coaxing from Zeus. ( Again, won't even go there.)
Okay,,,,that was only 8 but that's enough!!! Too funny Jill. Ya'll come up with some of the craziest things!!
Happy Wednesday everyone!!

TURN YOU SOUND ON WHILE WATCHING THIS PLEASE. I just have to share some more pictures. These pictures are of Camryn and her BFF's Olivia and Dana. Olivia and Dana and their awesome Mom, Barb, live in Allentown, PA. Barb and I met when we were adopting Olivia and Camryn. They went back a few years later and adopted Dana from the same orphange that Camryn and Libby came from. What an incredible story they have.
My life was forever changed on that China trip. Of course because of getting my beautiful daughter but I never in a million years would have believed that I would make such a wonderful, wonderful friend half way across the world.
We have been so fortunate to be able to spend a lot of time with Barb and her precious girls. And I think it is priceless that our 3 girls all came from the same wonderful orphange in China. They were all born within a few months of each other and were infants in China together. How cool is it for them that they know each other so well and share that time that sadly Barb and I know so little about. Camryn was 7 months old when she came home, Libby was 5 months old when she came home and Dana was 4 years old when she came home. Dana's story is something that a book should be written about. The circumstances that finally allowed her to come home are to many to write about on here. But know that it is an amazing, sometimes sad, but wonderful story.
These pictures were taken over the past 2 summers. Some are in Picayune and at my home, some are in Allentown at their home and others are in Philly, PA and Ocean City, Maryland. Words cannot begin to describe what wonderful times we have all spent together.

For you football fans out there I thought I would share this picture of my friend Amys oldest son Brandon. This was during the Picayune/Slidell game which we WON thanks in huge part to Brandon!! This is the clip that was in Sundays paper that week...
Brandon Marble got the Maroon Tide off to a good start by blocking Slidell's first punt of the night. Marble blocked the punt
and scooped up the loose football just inside the 10 yard line and dove into the end zone with 8:41 left in the first quarter.
Matt Dragon added the PAT for a 7-0 lead.
